Well, here we are again at the end of the 5th edition of 100 Nights of Summer! I’m currently in Bucharest adjusting my internal clock to something resembling what I assume is how typical people live. There’s a meme that states “I want to live in a festival forever”, but trust me when I tell you that 16 weeks is more than enough.

The trip started with a castle in Denmark, an indie rock festival in Finland, and the metal heads of Austria. I flew to a new country to see how they festival in Georgia, knocked Luxembourg off my bucket list along with seeing the Europe’s biggest free pop festival in the Netherlands. I stayed up all night in Madrid and found another castle. Then it was off to see dog shows and aliens before a double weekend of two incredibly unique fests in Poland and Serbia. I found my joie de vivre at a French indie rock festival that was so good that I stuck around for a second weekend. I danced on the beach in Montenegro. I got into the Olympic spirit in Berlin. And finally, at the end of it all, I finished everything off with a trip to a factory in Lisbon.

As always, I worked with some amazing companies who provided product for me to test and review on the road, so a big thanks to Eurail, Klean Kanteen, Big Agnes, Vibes, GSI Outdoors, and Klymit.

My final festival count since starting this project in 2015 is now 77 festivals in 32 countries along with roughly 150 articles. And now, let’s recap the summer!
